This project involved a broad range of visual effects work aimed at building and enhancing the film’s stylized and atmospheric world.
The work included full and partial CG environment creation and extensions, supporting both wide establishing shots and detailed scene integration, look development of the storm horizon. A series of custom 3D assets were developed, including Mad Max inspired speedboats, with full modeling, texturing, and shading workflows to achieve a raw and weathered look.
Character related work covered modeling, look development, and animation for specific roles such as tower guards. In addition, large scale 3D crowd systems were created to simulate cheering audiences and increase the sense of scale in key sequences.
All CG and live action elements were brought together through compositing, with careful attention to lighting consistency, integration, and final image continuity.
